New research and news from SAMPJ

Sustainability Accounting, Management and Policy JournalReadership of and citations to the Sustainability Accounting, Management and Policy Journal have increased steadily over its first six years.  The journal’s usage increased by 81% in 2014 and a further 51% in 2015.

The topical and interdisciplinary coverage of the journal is reflected in the content of issues 1 and 2 for 2016 detailed below.  The journal is a popular outlet for contemporary issues with integrated reporting being the subject of both the top downloaded article by immediacy and the most cited in 2015.  These are respectively:

Steyn M. (2014) ‘Organisational benefits and implementation challenges of mandatory integrated reporting: Perspectives of senior executives at South African listed companies’ Vol. 5, No. 4

The acceptance rate for all articles is 24% although this data includes a number of invited submissions which have a high acceptance rate. The journal has a relatively quick review turnaround time and editorial board members and Associate Editors provide constructive feedback to authors.
